Terms and Conditions: Australia & New Zealand Halal Expo (ANZHE)
1. Definitions
Organiser: Australia & New Zealand Halal Expo (ANZHE), its employees, and agents.
Exhibitor: The company, person, or entity booking space at the event.
Event: The Australia & New Zealand Halal Expo 2026.
Venue: Melbourne].
2. Booking and Payment
Contract: A binding contract is formed once the Organiser receives a signed application form and issues a deposit invoice.
Payment Schedule: A [50%] non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booth. The remaining balance must be paid in full [60 days] prior to the event start date.
Default: Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
Exhibitor Cancellation: If the Exhibitor cancels, the following applies:
90+ days before the event: [50%] of the total fee is retained by the Organiser.
Less than 90 days: 100% of the total fee is non-refundable.
Organiser Cancellation: If the event is cancelled due to Force Majeure (e.g., pandemic, natural disaster), the Organiser may offer a credit for future events or a partial refund minus administrative costs.
4. Halal Integrity & Compliance
Certification: All exhibitors showcasing food, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics must provide valid Halal certification from a recognized authority.
Ethics: The Organiser reserves the right to remove any product or promotional material deemed offensive or inconsistent with Halal ethical standards.
Product Restrictions: No alcohol, pork products, or non-Halal-compliant items are permitted on the premises.
5. Space Allocation and Use
Sub-Leasing: Exhibitors may not sub-let or share their booth space without written consent from the Organiser.
Boundaries: All activities, displays, and signage must remain within the allocated booth boundaries.
Noise & Light: High-volume audio or strobe lighting that interferes with other exhibitors is prohibited.
6. Insurance and Liability
Public Liability: Every Exhibitor must hold valid Public Liability Insurance (typically a minimum of $10–$20 million AUD) and provide a Certificate of Currency.
Damage to Venue: Exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused to the venue floors, walls, or equipment.
Loss/Theft: The Organiser is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any goods or personal property belonging to the Exhibitor.
7. Health and Safety
Compliance: Exhibitors must comply with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and venue-specific safety induction.
Equipment: All electrical equipment brought to the venue must be “Tested and Tagged” by a certified electrician.
8. Marketing and Promotion
Media Rights: The Organiser reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during the event (including booth displays) for future promotional purposes.
Exhibitor Logos: By signing this agreement, the Exhibitor grants the Organiser a limited license to use their logo on the event website and in the digital program.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an application to exhibit, the Exhibitor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
